Stearns Zoological
Rescue & Rehabilitation Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit permanent
sanctuary for many abused, unwanted, and non-releasable wild and exotic
animals. Our mission is to provide quality, lifetime care for the
animals of our facility. We are also registered with the State of Florida.*
We work closely with State and Federal agencies to adopt more animals,
as they need homes. Our beautiful 22-acre facility is located in the
heart of Pasco County in Dade City, Florida. We pride ourselves on
providing a natural botanical garden landscape environment for the
animals in our facility.
Stearns Zoological Rescue & Rehabilitation Center currently houses
more than 150 exotic animals including tigers, lions, jaguars, leopards,
lynx, cougars, servals, bears, deer and many other mammals. We also
care for several species of monkeys and a variety of birds. Many of
our animals are on the critically endangered species list.
