Kids can learn about nature, science and the animal kingdom while hiking through the zoo, exploring behind-the-scenes and interacting with ambassador animals.

So, you think you’re too old for Zoo Camp? Think again! We just added a whole bunch of cool new programs – something for kids of all ages!
A Typical Day at Zoo Camp includes:
• Zoo hikes
• Classroom lessons with pictures and artifacts
• Daily animal encounter or animal enrichment
• Activities based on the weekly camp theme
• Arts and crafts projects
• Animal shows
• Animal feedings
• Keeper talks
ZOO THEMES
African Safari
Go on a safari and explore various animals from across the savanna. Meet live animals and learn all about them.
Florida Natives
Learn the animal world of Florida. Discover the most unique and fascinating inhabitants of the Sunshine State.
Monkeying Around
Dive into the mysteries of the non-human primates and discover the differences of old and new world monkeys and people.
DATES & TIME
One Day Camp: July 14, 2010 (Wednesday)
Three Day Camp: July 13, 14, 15, 2010 (Tuesday through Thursday)
Camp begins PROMPTLY at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
REQUIRED DONATION
One Day Camp: $65 per child
Three Day Camp: $165 per child
(Includes 1 free T-shirt) T-shirts must be worn at camp.

SPECIAL PRE-SCHOOL CAMPS
We also offer special Pre-K Camps just for 3 to 5 year olds. These camps are 1.5 to 2 hours long.
Register early, camps fill up fast. Due to the popularity of these events we now offer more dates, but we are limiting our space to 25 participants per day.
• Ages 3 to 5
• Pre-registration is required one week prior to class.
• Cost: $20 per child (fee includes 1 child and 1 adult)
• An adult MUST accompany each child.
