DADE CITY'S WILD THINGS is the outreach program of Stearns Zoological Rescue & Rehab Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit sanctuary zoo. Our 22-acre facility is located in the heart of Pasco County in historical Dade City, Florida. We pride ourselves on providing a natural botanical garden landscape environment for the animals in our facility.

We currently house over 150 exotic animals including: tigers, lions, jaguars, leopards, cougars, servals, bears, deer, river otters, porcupines, monkeys, exotic birds and many other mammals — awaiting you at the zoo!
All contributions go to enhance the mission of Stearns Zoological Rescue & Rehab Center: to breed and preserve exotic endangered animals, to help preserve their species in the wild, to provide quality lifetime care for animals needing homes, to educate the public about the creatures that share our planet, and to instill in our visitors a love for all animals.
Stop by and visit our downtown Dade City Gift Shop, featuring zoo animal themed home décor, jewelry, photography, and educational toys and gifts for all ages. All proceeds go to support the animals.

While waiting for our authentic trolley to take you on a short ride to the zoo, relax and enjoy watching a video about our exciting animals.

Join us at Dade City's Wild Things to experience a “once in a lifetime”, walking tour of over 150 animal exhibits. You will be amazed at how close you will be to stalking tigers, bears playing, lions roaring, monkeys playing, otters swimming, birds calling, and much more. It will be an experience you will never forget.
Please wear comfortable, slip-resistant shoes as the setting is all natural so the terrain is uneven and hilly in places.
